More Over Life

You saw me smiling
You heard me laugh
But behind that funny me
Was the saddest part

From the day I was born,
To the day I died
I wish I would have lived..
A day, which was completely mine

I too wished a day for me
For my dreams, for my goals
Yet that deathless bide
Atrociously crushed my soul

I loved to dance to the tunes of nothing
And wanted to go on an adventure at times
I never wanted to be judged or barred
I wanted to fly with my wings spread high

Though the reality was never in favor
I had too many roles, Still I was no where
My heart was chiseled by the barbs of injustice
I searched all over and found no savior

I opened my eyes as a 'restricted' daughter,
Closed them as a 'neglected' mother
Waited for love as a 'for granted' wife
Bothered for all who never ever bothered

Yes!! I was born as a girl..
To be loved, to be pampered
But alas!! Between someone and everyone,
Slowly and slowly, I died as a 'no one'
